Gleason hosts a comprehensive 4½ days KISSsoft and KISSsys Software Training Class
August 27-31, 2018 in Rochester, NY
The KISSsoft training includes the usage of the software and training exercises executed by the participants. Basic theory will be discussed to develop an understanding of the technical terms used in the software. As preparation for this training we strongly recommend gaining familiarity with a KISSsoft test version and the tutorials available.
The special KISSsys 2.5-day training will help participants understand the essentials of KISSsoft and its add-on KISSsys with focus on modeling & analyzing gearboxes. This practical approach will be combined with theoretical knowledge necessary to make efficient use of the calculation programs. Participants will design a KISSsys model of an existing bevel-cylindrical-planetary transmission of 450 kW, optimizing the gears, analyzing the strength of shafts and lifetimes of bearings, as well as efficiency and contact analysis calculation.
