This year, it's happening again: Gleason's well known gear seminars will provide insights into the fundamentals of gear manufacturing technology. The seminars offer basic knowledge to beginners while for advanced users of operations, work preparation and planning, the seminars provide the opportunity to deepen their existing knowledge of gear manufacturing processes in order to better understand and apply technologies in a meaningful way.
The seminars enhance the understanding of processes and provide information about the requirements of production as well as the interaction of individual elements to create a successfully operating gear manufacturing system. The theory is supplemented with practical examples and demonstrations of various gear processes at the Gleason-Pfauter factory in Ludwigsburg. The seminars are constantly updated to the latest technological standards and deal with manufacturing processes such as hobbing, gear deburring, shaping and various grinding processes, as well as soft and hard Power Skiving of gears, just to name a few.
The successful seminar series has welcomed well over 2,500 participants so far and takes place at Gleason-Pfauter Maschinenfabrik GmbH in Ludwigsburg. The seminar location is conveniently located close to the A81 highway, easily accessible by car and connected to public transport, just 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station in Ludwigsburg.

Soft processing of cylindrical gears in English language:
June 28 – 29, 2018 (3 days)
Hard processing of cylindrical gears in English language:
November 28 - 29, 2018 (2 days)
