Workholding for Power Skiving
Gleason is one of the market leaders when it comes to Power Skiving. Our global product range includes the machines, cutting tools and workholding systems for this highly innovative cylindrical gear cutting process. In addition to customer-specific designs, you can choose between our modular system and standard solutions for internal and external machining, as well as special solutions for small workpieces. Suitable for Gleason and other machine manufacturers.
Modular System for Power Skiving
In addition to our customized solutions, we offer our modular system especially for Power Skiving, but also for gear shaping. This covers the clamping range for internal machining up to 850 mm and for external machining up to 530 mm. It is suitable for automatic loading and clamping and is designed for fast changeover with workpiece-dependent exchangeable parts.
Internal Machining
You can choose from over 10 available standard sizes for internal machining. Starting with the basic fixture size "XS" from 120 mm clamping diameter up to fixture size "5XL" up to 850 mm clamping diameter. The workpiece-dependent components are changed using a quick-change support for simple and error-free handling.
External Machining
For external machining, you can choose between the standard sizes "XS" with 160 mm to "L" with 450 mm clamping diameter and, on request, the "XL" version with up to 530 mm. The workpiece-dependent components are changed using a quick-change support for simple and error-free handling.
Small Workpieces
Various solutions from the modular and customer-specific product range are available for smaller workpieces, which can be individually combined depending on the machine interface and requirements.
