The popular ‘Home Trainer’ series of free gear technology webinars continues - with a new name and on a regularly scheduled basis.
In March 2020 Gleason staged its first ‘Home Trainer’ Webinar for gear technology as a free customer service in response to COVID 19 times. The overwhelming success encouraged further webinars in this series covering a wide variety of gear technology topics, mostly broadcast from the home offices of product specialists. As the crisis eases, more and more customers are returning to their offices - including our gear technology experts. Now, with interest and response growing, the ‘Home Trainers’ series has become ‘Gear Trainers’.
A seamless transition to the Gear Trainer Webinars takes place on June 25, 2020. The upcoming Gear Trainer Webinars will expand the coverage of a variety of topics on bevel and cylindrical gear manufacturing technology, including gear and transmission design and simulation, soft cutting and hard finishing processes, metrology, tools, workholding, software and 4.0 production systems. The webinars include a mix of different media: presentations, video and live demonstrations. The direct interaction between host, product expert and specialist audience makes the webinar informative and entertaining.
Depending on the topic, Gear Trainer Webinars are available in English and German language, and some are also available in other languages. Within 30 minutes, our gear-cutting experts delve deep into the topics, and any questions raised are addressed in the following Q&A session. The upcoming webinar schedule can be found at www.gleason.com/geartrainer and is constantly updated with new webinars. Check it out - we look forward to your participation.
