Gleason's free Gear Calculator App offers practical tools to help with daily tasks of gear experts, including calculations of various gear inspection dimensions, hardness converter, a rpm calculator, calculation of deviations from gear qualities, calculation of feed and cutting speeds in gear hobbing, and a twist calculator for gear grinding applications.
Gleason now offer this app in Japanese language. The Gear Calculator App works online and offline. When opening the app for the first time, visit www.gleason.com/gear-calculator, register and login to "MyGleason". To add the app to a mobile device, follow these steps:
- For Android, open the browser menu and select 'Add to Home Screen'.
- For iOS, select 'Add to Home Screen' from the sharing menu. A new icon 'Gear Calculator' will be created on your home screen or in the app drawer.
